Some highlights from the nestcam so far -
- Three of the four eggs hatch here. I didn’t expect the fourth to come through after this, it seemed like too long an interval.
- The fourth egg hatched the next morning, yay!
- “Dunedin nest cam captures antics” in the ODT.
These little creatures are blurry - it’s hilarious how the camera gets the nest in sharp relief, and the chicks are basically a blurry mess. Also this weekend has been quite windy and the nest seems to have moved a few inches, so the footage from yesterday was not very well positioned.
